Job Title: HR Admin Assistant

Salary: up to £22,000 per annum plus Healthcare, Pension, Insurance Benefits and Free Parking

Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset

Our client, a well-established and growing professional services firm, is seeking a dedicated HR Administration Assistant to support their dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the HR department, contributing to the smooth and efficient management of HR-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Administration: Assist with preparing offer letters, references, Statements of Terms and Conditions, and other employee letters.
  • Resignation Processing: Prepare and issue acceptance of resignation letters.
  • Leave and Query Management: Administer holiday bookings and respond to employee queries through the Moorepay HR system.
  • HR Documentation: Update and maintain various HR documents and templates.
  • Personnel Files: Create and maintain both paper and electronic personnel files.
  • New Starters: Support HR with inductions and new employee procedures.

Personal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and employee information.
  • Be positive and proactive when working with colleagues and professional contacts.
  • Support other departments as required.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any additional tasks related to HR administration, as needed, to support the team.

Essential Experience:

  • General education and administrative experience.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working in HR or within a legal practice.
  • Knowledge of solicitor offices or legal businesses.
